Our Reach
We work at the intersection of policy, planning and on-ground practice, with a focus on community development and strengthening leadership and changemaking. Grounded in science and decades of experience, we embed resilience concepts and principles into strategies and action.
Our clients range from federal and state governments shaping climate and adaptation policy, to regional agencies such as water authorities, NRM bodies and Landcare groups leading place-based planning. We support community foundations and rural leadership programs to build local capacity, collaborate with specialist providers and research institutions including CSIRO and universities to connect science with practice, and partner with international organisations advancing resilient futures.
Government, planning and policy
We support federal and state departments to shape climate policy and adaptation strategies. Our role is to translate complex science into practical frameworks, strengthen decision-making under uncertainty and embed resilience principles into planning.
Regional Agencies and Organisations
We work with water authorities, NRM bodies, catchment management authorities and Landcare to design and deliver place-based resilience and transformation initiatives. Our facilitation, training and strategy development help regional organisations respond effectively to disruption.
Community Foundations and Leadership
We partner with community foundations, rural leadership programs and their networks to build capacity in local leaders. Through tailored programs, we strengthen skills in systems thinking, collective impact and leading through uncertainty.
Research institutions
We work with universities and research partners on the application of resilience, adaptation and transformation concepts to complex social-ecological challenges, with a particular focus on climate. These collaborations build the resilience evidence base and generate practical strategies and tools that support decision-making and action.
International resilience initiatives
We contribute expertise and experience to global resilience initiatives. Our partnerships include co-developing methodologies such as Wayfinder, and supporting humanitarian resilience-based initiatives in Africa and South-East Asia.
Specialist consultants
We work as a sub-contractor to specialist businesses, contributing our expertise in resilience, adaptation and transformation. By adding depth in strategy, facilitation and communication, we strengthen their projects and help deliver effective outcomes for clients and communities.
